My role in the project....(Patrick Timothy)

In this Semester 2 project, I'm working with Renzo to download resources, like pictures and verses and also responsible for the printing of the A3 poster.

My role in the project...(irene floriane)

In this project, I'm working together with Shefilyn in designing the poster and thinking about which bible verse would work with the topic chosen for the poster.

My role in the project... (Shefilyn W)

For the semester 2 major creative project, I will be in charge of the design, together with one of my team mate Irene, and the assembling of the poster.

Introducing TEAM ECHO OF G9B

Shefilyn Widjaja [also the admin of the blog]

I was born on the fifth day, of the fifth month, in the late 20th century [read: 1999]. I was born two weeks early. My mom claimed that it was due to her being afraid that the riots that happened the year before would happen again that year. Honestly? I suspect that it was because she realized that I was slowly sucking all the awesomeness out of her. [The realization came a tad bit too late, I'd say.]

I currently live in West Jakarta. Together with my mother, whose supply of awesomeness seems to be never ending, my maid, who has been with me for 12 years, and my insufferable, intolerable and all around obnoxious older sister, whom I - quite ironically - love dearly, we live in a concrete polygonal prism, 21 storeys above ground.

Which is to say, we live in a cramped, irregularly shaped apartment unit on the 21st floor.

On my days off school, I - in the company of Earl Grey or Chamomile tea - transport myself into the Land of the Fictitious. There, I have fought Greek and Egyptian gods, defeated a whole troop of biologically enhanced human-monkey hybrids, exorcised numerous uncooperative ghouls, flailed a wooden stick to return the balance to the world, and deduced the family relations of an invalidated war doctor by looking at his pocket watch. Additionally, I have also led a successful rebellion against the government after being forced to kill strangers in a government-funded tournament, witnessed the becoming of the world's greatest love stories, and lived the life of a wandering spirit as my body lay motionless in a clinical coma.

In other words, I read books. Lots of them.

To treat myself after weeks of nonstop assessments, I buy myself tubs of overpriced frozen heaven delicacies and eat them directly from their respective containers to 'reduce the amount of water needed to wash the dishes' [read: I am too lazy to scoop ice cream out into a bowl]. On the days when my tongue prefers the piercing taste of salt and monosodium glutamate, I buy myself bags of chicken BBQ-flavored potato chips and perch myself in front of my laptop, watching an elephant give birth as I stuff my mouth with thin, crispy slices of carbohydrates and saturated fats.

As of April 2014, I have been in two millennia, two centuries, three decades, and seen the fall of the Twin Towers, the capture/death of one of FBI's ten most wanted fugitives, and a royal wedding between a prince and a commoner. I have also survived the year 2000's Planetary Alignment Doomsday Prediction, the Rapture's beginning and ending (or, at least, Harold Camping's prediction of it, anyway), and the 2012 'End of the World'.

In short, I am the living, walking proof as to why 14.9-year-olds are not to be underestimated and condescended upon.

Floriane Marguerite

Hello there,
My name is Floriane Marguerite. Everybody calls me Irene because my grandma found it hard to spell Floriane so she basically changed my name for my whole life. True Story.

I'm getting a year older every year- on the 16th day of the 10th month of the year. Born in the year that was 2 years away from the 21st century (do the math), I'm one of the oldest in my class with the shortest height.

Food...My first love. My favorite subject is food..and nutrition which is on the first day of the week that everyone hates. The cooking is part is what I love most, NOT. I love the eating part better. My favorite food? I personally am not 100% sure what I like best because- well, I basically like everything. (Don’t judge :3) But what I’m craving right now, at this second is…Nutella.

My enemy is numbers. We just can't get along. Like never. Just no. Biology is interesting for me and I quite enjoy it actually, except for the experiment part of cutting open an innocent creature- poor little thing. =(

I like a lot of things- the smell of rain and the smell of a new book. I love love love photos, they represents beautiful moments we had. What I usually do with the best ones is to make a beautiful scrapbook. Listening to music is part of my daily life too, right now I’m listening to Awesome God by Michael W Smith- I love the sound of the violin and the piano joined together there.

You now have some knowledge of me, nice to know you too (whoever is reading this.) bye-bye, Blessings!

Renzo Widjaja

In 19 July 1999 I was born in Singapore, because my dad is emperor of Singapore and he was the owner of the Ferrari company (unfortunately, he was fired. Apparently, test driving every single car without a valid licence on the main road is illegal).

I am the oldest among my two other siblings. I'm currently 14 years old and am about to turn 15. As a teenager I am the strongest most popular in the world. Every Saturday I would be invited by Bill Gates to his mansion to have organic dinners. I would play every Saturday with my friends in either school or in the basketball field which my mother own. Aside fro my hobby, I also enjoy building air crafts for Boeing company.

Back when I was about five years old me and my family moved to a small town in China. It was well hidden far into the mountains, and we happened to love close to oldest church there. At one night when I was sleeping, I was waken up when I saw a figure walking around my room. In the morning I was so terrified that I told my parents about the things that had happened in the past night.

For the next two days, things had gone the same until me and my family decided to get back home.

Patrick Timothy

22nd December was my best day ever: I was born into the world. My name is Patrick Timothy and I am currently 15 years old. I am the youngest in my family, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do what I want.

Basketball is my hobby, it's practically the sun to my solar system. I competed with Michael Jordan a year before I was born, and he lost. So that's that. No biggie. As a male teenager, it's become a necessity of me to have the body shape similar to that of Chris Hemsworth. I play basketball every Saturday with my friends in sport club near my house. Now, I am sitting in grade 9 as a student and honestly? It’s hard. Additionally, I love going on vacations with my family, especially adventurous ones like that one time we battled a shark in the Maldives [a make-shift one in my aquarium, but still, Maldives] because I like adventure. Any vacation I’ve been through with my family have always been fun.

An event that have traumatised me [even before I knew what the word 'traumatise' meant] wa
s when I was around 8 or 9 months old. [My mom told me this story, by the way. I didn't have super memory or anything.] I was playing in my own room, crawling around the bed, and just having fun alone. It was approaching evening when I  crawled up the top of the upper section of my bed, and slipped down to my bed, but this wasn’t a normal fall. My head hit the edge of the bed, causing me to have severe wound in my right eyebrow. My mom carried me to the car, holding the wound as blood continuously flowing through my nose like a geyser. I was brought to the emergency room for immediate surgery. Long story short, I received 3 stitches on my small eyebrow and several days later, I had my first birthday with a wound on my right eyebrow.
